After what seems to be a very long time, I started driving again. So since then, my parents have been giving me advice on how to drive.

MOM : You have to look beyond, foresee dangers and avoid them. Take your time on the road, don't drive like your daddy.

DAD : When you drive, you must be decisive and fast. If you act like a pussy on the road, you'll definitely get into an accident. Drive fast but not reckless, don't drive like your mommy.

For the past few months, I've been pretty busy with my final semester for my Diploma in Civil Engineering at KLIUC. And for this final semester, I have to do a thesis on a subject related to civil engineering. And while doing my thesis, I realized I have to write an abstract and an abstrak. So after I have wrote my abstract, the not-so-smart part in me was thinking,"Let's just use google translate for the abstrak." And so I did just that. Well, it turned out completely retarded. So now that I have almost finished my thesis and have a little time on my hands. I decided to do a little google translate from English to Malay for the chorus of Just The Way You Are by Bruno Mars. =)

**In case you didn't know, abstrak is abstract written in Malay.

Impartation of wisdom

Recently my dad went to my brother's school (Lick Hung Whoo!) to get my brother's report card. The teacher was complaining to my dad about a bunch of bad stuff in mandarin bout my bro. But since my dad doesn't understand mandarin, he just nods at anything and everything the teacher says (I could picture my dad's blur face, saw it countless times when I was in Lick Hung. Really funny. LOL). But there's one thing that my dad understands which is when the teacher started telling my dad something about facebook.

Apparently, my brother shared on his status update on facebook about his teacher looking like a bulldog or something like that. Not too sure bout the details. And the teacher actually found out about it! And told my dad about it. So my dad laughed. For quite awhile. Truth is, he laughed so much that he actually forgot to ask my brother to say sorry to the teacher. He said something bout how all that laughter made him really blur. And this is what he told my brother after that in the car "Next time, don't post this kind of things on facebook. Say only lah. Must know how to cover your backside. Learn from this mistake ok? You too Ian"
